Technology That Supports Your Mission

Managed IT, cybersecurity, connectivity, and continuity planning for churches and nonprofit organizations throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry.

Your Organization Has More Important Work to Do

Churches and nonprofits rely on technology to coordinate staff, volunteers, donors, members, programs, services, events, communications, and community outreach. Yet many organizations operate with limited internal IT resources and a mixture of systems added over time.

Charlestowne Technologies brings those pieces together. We help leadership understand what is in place, address immediate risks, and build a practical technology plan that supports the mission without wasting resources.

One Partner Across the Organization

Technology Across the Campus

A sanctuary, administrative office, classroom wing, fellowship hall, food-service area, event space, and outdoor facility can each place different demands on the network.

Campus Network & Wi-Fi

UniFi network and Wi-Fi design for staff, volunteers, guests, classrooms, events, outdoor spaces, and connected systems. Fiber and copper are preferred; wireless bridges are considered only where cabling is impractical, disruptive, cost-prohibitive, or impossible.

Gatherings & Events

Reliable connectivity for worship services, streaming and production systems, conferences, fundraisers, community programs, seasonal events, staff communications, and the devices used by attendees and volunteers.

Safety & Facility Systems

Network infrastructure for UniFi Protect video surveillance, UniFi Access, phones, building systems, and other connected devices—with appropriate separation from staff, financial, and guest networks.

Cybersecurity Is Part of Responsible Stewardship

Churches and nonprofits may hold donor information, member records, employee data, financial accounts, payment information, and confidential communications. They are also frequent targets for email impersonation, fraudulent payment requests, account takeover, and attacks that exploit busy staff or volunteers.

We help reduce those risks through managed endpoint protection, patching, account security, Microsoft 365 safeguards, secure remote support, network segmentation, backup, recovery planning, and practical guidance for staff and leadership.

Protect What People Have Entrusted to You

Security should protect the organization without making service and outreach harder. We balance appropriate safeguards with the realities of changing volunteers, shared spaces, seasonal programs, outside vendors, and limited administrative time.

Continuity for the Programs People Depend On

Technology interruptions can affect services, payroll, donations, communications, events, and direct community assistance. Preparation should happen before the next outage.

Backup & Recovery

Identify critical information and systems, maintain appropriate backups, test recovery expectations, and document who should be involved when something goes wrong.

Internet & Communications

Business internet, secondary connectivity, failover, and hosted communications options for organizations whose staff, services, or events cannot depend on a single point of failure.

A Realistic Roadmap

Prioritize immediate risks, lifecycle needs, infrastructure projects, and future improvements in phases that leadership can understand and budget for responsibly.

Community Service Is Personal to Us

The partners behind Charlestowne Technologies are active members of the Exchange Club of Charleston. Our company contributes managed technology support to Exchange Park and the Coastal Carolina Fair, helping maintain the network, UniFi infrastructure, more than 100 cameras, backups, security, and communications that support a large community property and its events.

That experience gives us a practical understanding of volunteer-led organizations, major events, changing seasonal needs, large facilities, and the responsibility that comes with protecting resources intended to serve the community.

Local People. Long-Term Relationships.

We serve organizations throughout Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties, with support available elsewhere in the Lowcountry as needed. Our goal is to become a dependable technology partner—not simply respond to isolated problems.
